Grupo Taking, a consultancy specializing in cloud environment management and IT services, has announced the creation of an advisory board composed of individuals who will actively contribute to the company’s decisions.
The chosen board members are chair board Rogério Oliveira, former president of IBM, and Fátima Primati, former CIO of Laureate Education.
Joining them on the board are Nuham Szprinc, former vice president of marketing at Banco Nacional and a specialist in M&A and strategic projects for fintechs and funds, and Sérgio Brito, former general manager of IBM Brasil’s services division.
With over 20 years of career experience, Oliveira dedicated nearly nine years of his trajectory to IBM, later moving on to Totvs and Brasscom. In 2014, he founded and led ScoreTech IT Solutions, specialized in information technology services.
Primati, in turn, worked at organizations such as HSBC, Citibank, and MetLife.
In the past, Szprinc served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of IBM, a business consultant at ACSP, and director of marketing and business development at Ticket Serviços.
The executive also owns Szprinc Consultores & Associados, a consultancy active for over 25 years, specializing in the payment methods industry, service and relationship channels, and food retail and consumer goods.
Brito, on the other hand, worked at Evernex and Spread Tecnologia, after dedicating more than 30 years of his career to IBM.
According to Marco Romero, CEO of Grupo Taking, having an active and multidisciplinary advisory board is essential to sustain growth and maintain the commitment to innovation and governance, as the diversity of trajectories and experiences of the board members strengthens decision-making and broadens the company’s strategic vision.
“We believe that an active advisory board does not merely oversee — it challenges, guides, and drives. Having experienced board members means having alongside us those who help us maintain focus on the long term without losing the agility of the present,” says Romero.
With nearly three decades in the market, Taking is headquartered in São Paulo, has more than a thousand employees, provides more than 151,000 hours of service per month, and serves more than 240 clients. Among them are names such as Alelo, Dasa, HDI Seguros, and Ânima Educação.
